So far this adoption has really flown by. In hindsight, we have been blessed beyond belief. But a month ago we were told by a "mole" we have in the great Red Land, that our son was moved to another orphanage. Why they did this we have no freaking idea. Who would do that to a child? Take him from the place he has been since he was 6 months old and move him, 2 months before his family comes to get him. Freaking idiotic if you want my opinion. But it happened. We immediately asked for an update on his status and health. We want to make sure the kid isn't eating gravel off the playground every day. Well sure enough NOTHING.
It has been a month! A MONTH. How hard is it to check on a kid, measure his feet, weight him, check his height, and snap a few photos. How hard is that... apparently freaking hard, because NO one has done it yet. So we wait... and wait... and wait.
Give me one day and I could produce updates on all 1,000 kids they have in that joint... 1 DAY!
Oh and we are on day 4 of our TA wait (which is averaging about 11 days or so right now)... so another week on that as well. But we are close. So close... like 28 days close. In 28 days we will be on a plane headed for Hong Kong then on to Beijing. That blows my mind... I will now take a moment and ponder what we have done............................
Yeah still cool with it.

Have you tried Ladybugs N Love? http://ladybugsnlove.com/catalog.php?category=14
Angela worked for our adoption agency at the time we adopted our daughter and I can highly recommend her as a caring, competent, and capable person. She is often able to get results when others can't because of her relationships with the orphanage staff.
Might be worth a try anyway.
Sadly Kris,
Our orphanage will not work with any third party. They are very strick about it. Not even BLAS (government ordained to get updates). Only the agency can get them... I have tried!
