17 days in China... in Pictures!



Today we got our travel schedule from our agency, which is kind of funny, since I planned the whole trip myself.  But alas, they did get the final word in... Here is the Who, What, Where, When, and Why of our trip!


9/4     Leave for China, Cathay Pacific out of JFK


9/5     Arrive in Hong kong, try to stay awake and hit the Nathan Road Night market


9/6     See a giant Buddha


9/7     Meet a guy named Stanley, stroll a beach, dinner on a peak


9/8     Leave Hong Kong and Fly to Beijing on Dragon Air (ohhhhh)


9/9     Meet Jack complete custody paperwork, maybe rock some forbidden city in the afternoon


9/10   Hit up Civil Affairs and make that kid a Motter.  Rock some Drum and Bell tower on our way home


9/11   Slide down the Great Wall, and if time spend the last days of summer in a special palace


9/12   Apply for Jack's passport and hit a temple or two for prosperity


9/13   Rock the Panda House at the Beijing zoo... no guide so hit the subway and try not to get lost

9/14   Pack that crap up... in less than a day we're leaving on a train


9/15   Take a sleeper train to Guangzhou, China

9/16   Arrive smelly, tired, and hungry in Guangzhou, China


9/17   Rock Jack's final medical exam, (um did you know your son's back isn't straight?  OMG really!)


9/18   Hit the Safari park (this is really about me, I want to feed a giraffe and hold a baby tiger)


9/19   8:30 am hit the American Consulate, and promise to keep this kid forever and ever, AMEN!
9/20   Pick up the visa, rock some laundry, and pack those bags!


9/21   Leave Guangzhou for Hong Kong... rock HKG for 5 hours then Cathay Pacific home to JFK
