We Reached Our Goal!!!

I wanted to take a moment and thank everyone out there that helped us out over the last two week.  In a total of about 9 days we reached our goal to fundraise $5500!  Fundraising was not on our to do list. 

We knew going into this adoption that it would set us back about $27,000, but we had a plan.  I would work two jobs and all the money from my second job would go toward

s the adoption.  In 12 months we would have it all set aside.  Then like in most international adoptions things didn't go as planned.  12 months turned into 10 and we are rushing to bring our son home.  It is a long story and one day I might tell it, but until our son is home safe and sound we will wait to share.

Thank you all for passing on our video and story.  Thank you for donating.  Thank you for believing in what we are doing.  This will be our second and last international adoption.  It has broken us down emotionally, spiritually, and physically.  We are all ready for it to be over.  So thank you for helping us get there.  We could not have done it without you!

Also on the paperwork front we are sitting on someone's desk at the NVC (National Visa Center) and are hoping to be "cabled" to the consulate in Guangzhou, China next week.
We hope to have our travel approval by the end of August at the latest!
